Salamance as a raid attacker is very useful. It's good counters for the Dragon Raid Bosses and Virizion.
Salamance ranks 653rd as a Shadow and 750th as a non shadow with both using Dragon Tail - Outrage*/Fire Blast. In Ultra League it ranks 537th as a Shadow using Dragon Tail - Outrage*/Hydro Pump.
As a non shadow it ranks 562th using Dragon Tail - Outrage*/Return^. Finally in Masters it ranks 150th as a Shadow using Dragon Tail - Outrage*/Hydro Pump, and as a non shadow it ranks 173rd using Dragon Tail - Outrage*/Fire Blast.

Mega Sableye is a helpful October Mega for Candy Collection, it otherwise doesn't have a use,
Sableye as a raid type attacker is NOT useful whatsoever.
Sableye ranks 14th in Great Leauge with Shadow Claw - Foul Play/Return*. In Ultra League and Master League it is too low CP for Sableye to compete. Sableye maxes out at a high of 1,305 (Non-XL) and 1,476 (with XL Candy). The Mega,
maxes out at 2,196.
*You must purify a Sableye for this move. This is the only way to get it.

Magma Storm is a brilliant Fire-type Charged move, and if you get a Heatran from the five-star raids, it will be a wonderful addition to your roster. Magma Storm Heatran will yield,

Heatran as a raid type attacker is VERY useful, it would be a good idea to max some Nihilego for future raid bosses that are weak to Poison.
Heatran is a decent user in GBL, it can't be used in Great League but the moveset you want to use is Fire Spin - Magma Storm*/Iron Head. I won't be doing a deep dive anymore on these since it takes a long time to research each Pokemon.

For the 1st time in Pokémon GO you can have a chance of catching Shiny Nihilego! This is the 5th time Nihilego has been in raids. Nihilego will appear from Ultra Wormholes instead of the normal Tier 5 Egg.
Nihilego as a raid type attacker is VERY useful, it would be a good idea to max some Nihilego for future raid bosses that are weak to Poison.
In the GBL meta, it can not battle in Great League since it's CP is way to high, even if traded it's still impossible for Great League. In Ultra League it ranks 245th using Poison Jab - Rock Slide/Sludge Bomb. In Master's League it ranks 75th also,
using Poison Jab - Rock Slide/Sludge Bomb.

Mega Sceptile can not be soloed unless weather boosted (by the looks of it). It does look like it can be duoed tho without the weather boost possibly!
Mega Sceptile as a raid type attacker is VERY useful, it would be a good idea to get a ton of Mega Energy to Mega Evolve different Sceptile and Max them with Candys, and Mega Levels.
In the GBL meta, Great League it ranks 144th as a Shadow and 204th as a non-shadow using Bullet Seed - Leaf Blade/Earthquake. In Ultra League it ranks 161st as a Shadow and 224th as a non-shadow. It uses the same moveset as Great,
League. In Masters it ranks 273rd as a Shadow and 279th as a non-shadow still using Bullet Seed - Leaf Blade/Earthquake.

Once again, you CAN NOT remote raid Shadow Raids. I completely understand why Niantic didn't allow Remote Raids on Shadow Raids because these Shadow Pokémon are supposed to be rare. Shadow Shiny Articuno is also debuting.
This marks the 2nd Legendary to be able to be Shadow Shiny. Shadow Shiny Zapdos is most likely next.
NOTE: If you have a good IV Galarian Articuno and want to max it, you can have a possibility here by doing raids for Shadow Articuno!
Articuno is ok in GBL and as a Raid Attacker, it's pretty good as an Ice type. Articuno ranks 222nd as a non-shadow and 306th as a Shadow in Great League. The best moveset would be Ice Shard - Icy Wind/Ancient Power. The Galarian form ranks,
468th with Psycho Cut - Ancient Power/Brave Bird. In Ultra League non-shadow Articuno ranks 56th using Ice Shard - Icy Wind/Ancient Power. Shadow Articuno ranks 127th with Ice Shard - Icy Wind/Ancient Power. The Galarian Form ranks 410th,
Psycho Cut - Ancient Power/Brave Bird. In Master's the non-shadow ranks 67th with Ice Shard - Icy Wind/Ancient Power. The Shadow ranks 78th with Ice Shard, Icy Wind, and Ancient Power. The Galarian form is pretty decent only in Master's,
ranking 136th using Psycho Cut - Ancient Power/Brave Bird.

The Lake Guardians will return to their respective regions from June 1st to 15th. Shiny Nihilego will debut from June 15th to June 29th, lastly Heatran will return to raids from June 29th to July 6th! In Mega Raids, Mega Swampert will take over from,
June 1st - June 15th. After that, Mega Sceptile will be in Mega Raids from June 15th to June 29th, and finally a new mega will be in raids from June 29th - July 6th. This is most likely Mega Sableye from all the leaks. Shadow Articuno raids will take place,
every weekend in June besides the 1st weekend. Shadow Articuno Raids are IN PERSON ONLY!
A Research Day known as "Searching for Gold" will be held on June 3rd from 2-5pm. Gold Shiny Pokemon will be boosted. Starting June 6th the Water Festival will return and be a "Beach Week" theme this year! Tons of Water Type Pokemon WILL,
be boosted during that time. The event will end June 12th. On June 10th Axew Community Day will take place from 2-5pm. T4 Raids will occur with Fraxure as the raid boss. Fraxure can not be shiny. Once defeated it will have Axew spawns for 30,
minutes. Next there will be a Solstice Horizons event. That will take place from June 16th - June 25th. The 2nd half of the event will be a Team GO Rocket Takeover Event. Dark Flames will finish off the month from June 29th to July 5th.

Mega Swampert is one of the easy Megas to take down since it's double weak to grass! Make sure to bring your grass types into Mega Swampert Raids!
In the Raid Meta it is one of the best Water and Ground type attackers! Even without the Mega it's really good! In the PVP Meta on the other hand, it ranks 5th in Great League with the moveset Mud Shot - Hydro Cannon*/Earthquake. In Ultra League,
it ranks 7th as a Shadow and 10th as a non shadow with the moveset Mud Shot - Hydro Cannon*/Earthquake. Finally in Masters it ranks 37th with the moveset Mud Shot - Hydro Cannon*/Earthquake. It's highly recommended that you use XL Candys!

Altaria has been only been accessible through evolving Swablu. You need 400 candies aswell. Altaria also has a very rare chance at appearing on the Daily Incense.
Altaria is very useful in Go Battle League. It ranks 13th in Great League with the moves Dragon Breath - Sky Attack/Moonblast*. In Ultra League it ranks 95th with the moves Dragon Breath - Sky Attack/Moonblast*. Lastly in Masters League Altaria
ranks 377th using Dragon Breath - Sky Attack/Moonblast*. Altaria is a wonderful choice in Great/Ultra League!

Regigigas returns to Legendary raids for the 1st time since June 2021. It's been sure that most people don't have this legendary as it's hyper rare. It's a nice shiny and has only been in raids one other time. This is the second time it will be in raids.
Regigias can not be used in Great leauge in Pokemon GO, it ranks 619th in Ultra Leauge, and 167th in Master Leauge. It's also not useful in raids, I would try to personally Dex Regigigas, then stop. Or try to get the shiny. It's your choice!

Regidrago is in Elite Raids which means that they CAN NOT be remote raided. You will need to find people in your community (family, friends, etc.) to take down Regidrago. You will need at least 2 people to take down with good counters, but if you want to make it "automatic",
I would recommend 4+ trainers to take Regidrago down.
Regidrago can not be shiny for it's 2nd time around. Regidrago is back because of the "unforeseen issues" that happened when Regidrago first debuted back in March of 2023. Niantic considers this Elite Raid Day as a makeup event. If you did not get Regidrago back in March,
this could be the last time we see Regidrago in raids this year. It's currently unknown when Regidrago & Regieleki will return.

Some of the best Raid counters for Mega Pinsir in Pokemon Go are Mega Aerodactyl, Shadow Aerodactyl, Rhyperior, Tyrantrum, Terrakion & Gigalith. Make sure to use your Rock types as Mega Pinsir is DOUBLE WEAK to Rock Types!
This is the 32nd Mega (excluding Primals) to be introduced into Mega Raids. Pinsir's Shiny now turns into a 1/64 Shiny instead of a 1/~110 Shiny. Pinsir is also currently available in the Research Breakthrough for the Season of Rising Heroes.
Pinsir isn't the best thing to use in the GO Battle League (for Great League) as it ranks 243rd (Non-Shadow), Shadow it ranks 203rd. In Ultra League it ranks 219th as a non shadow and 151th as a Shadow. Lastly in Master League it ranks 192nd and 152th as a Shadow.

For the 1st time in Pokémon GO you can get Shiny Tapu Fini (if you're lucky!) from raids OR GBL (GO Battle League) Encounters. (Must be Rank 20 or higher to have a possible encounter with Tapu Fini in the GO Battle League.
Pokémon GO Hub states that "Tapu Fini brings a close to the Tapus with arguably the best one (for PvP) yet.". This means, yes, Tapu Fini is good for all leagues. (Great, Ultra, and Master). You will need to trade for a meta relevant Tapu Fini for Great League.
Tapu Fini ranks 93rd in Great League with Water Gun (Fast Move) and Surf/Moonblast (Charged). In Ultra League it ranks 20th with Water Gun (Fast Move) and Surf/Moonblast (Charged). Finally it ranks 67th in Master's League with Water Gun (Fast Move) and Surf/Moonblast (Charged).
