Marshadow debuts in Pokemon GO globally on July 13th, 2024 for ticketholders in Special Research!

Necrozma makes it's global debut in Tier 5 Raids on July 13th, 2024! It will first appear at Sendai, Madrid, and New York City.
You must have an in-person ticket to get a shiny when doing remote raids during the in person events. Once the global event comes along, you can get the Shiny from Necrozma Raids!

Q/A on Fusion:
How does fusion work? If you want to get Dusk Mane Necrozma, you will need a Necrozma and Solgaleo. You will also need 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy. To get Dawn Wings Necrozma, you will need a Necrozma and Lunala. You will also need 1,000 Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy. You can unfuse for free, but will need all the required items to refuse.

How do I get Fusion Energy? You can get Solar Energy by completing Dusk Mane Necrozma Raids or completing ticketed research tasks. For Lunar Energy you will need to complete a Dusk Mane Necrozma Raid or complete ticketed research tasks.

Will Dusk Mane/Dawn Wing Necrozma learn an exclusive move? Dusk Mane Necrozma will learn "Sunsteel Strike" which is a Steel type attack. Dawn Wings Necrozma will learn "Moongeist Beam" which is a Ghost type attack when either get fused. They are also adventure effects, currently we do not know what they will do. Dusk Mane Necorzma Raid you will earn Solar Energy, Solar Energy can be used to fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo,
it will keep Necrozma's IVs and if it's Shiny or not.

Sun Crown and Moon Crown Avatar Items

  • If you purchase the Global GO Fest Ticket before by May 6th and play between April 30th and May 6th will receive timed research that will award an "early access" avatar item: Sun Crown.
  • All trainers who purchase by June 6th and play between May 31st and June 6th will receive a timed research that will also reward another early avatar item and get "early access", it's named the Moon Crown. (In total a total of 2 timed researches, tasks are currently unknown.)
